1. Delete in the app
- Open the OnayVPN app.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Tap Delete account.
- Optionally tell us why you are leaving, then tap Request deletion and Yes, delete it in the confirmation dialog.
Once your request is received, the screen shows the date your account will be deleted.
2. 7-day grace period
Deletion is carried out automatically 7 days after your request. If you change your mind within that time, tap Keep my account on the same screen to cancel the request. After the period ends, deletion cannot be undone.
3. If you cannot access the app
Even if you removed the app or lost your device, you can write to info@webmetri.com with the subject "OnayVPN account deletion". Include the email address linked to your account (if you signed in with Google, Apple or email) so we can find it. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you. If you never linked your account (guest account), it can only be deleted from within the app; once the app is removed the guest account is no longer accessible, and we hold no other information that could be tied to your identity.
4. Data that is deleted
- Your profile: email address, display name and sign-in details (your sign-in identity is permanently removed)
- Your VPN account, VPN password and WireGuard encryption keys
- Your devices and push tokens
- Sign-in and consent records (including IP address and country)
- Connection session records
- Your favourites, notification preferences and in-app notifications
- Your support requests and messages
5. Data that is kept
As required by tax and accounting law and the stores' refund/dispute processes, subscription and payment transaction records (plan, dates, amount, store transaction ID) are kept for the legally required period. After deletion these records can no longer be linked to your name, email address or device. Connection content, visited sites or DNS queries are never recorded in the first place, so there is no such data to keep.
6. Cancelling your subscription
- iPhone / iPad: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → OnayVPN → Cancel Subscription
- Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → OnayVPN → Cancel subscription
